SpillTracker – real-time tracking of oil spills and surface emissions

NovuMare's proprietary SpillTracker is a compact and efficient buoy for real-time tracking of oil spills and other surface emissions. It is equipped with an AIS transmitter class B and can be tracked directly on standard maritime surveillance systems such as electronic charts and RADAR. With a height of only 50 cm (incl. antenna), a weight of approximately 2 kg and a diameter of 15 cm, it can be dropped from an aircraft via droptube - or manually from a boat. The device has an operating time of up to 36 hours in active "alert" mode with continuous transmission. It is delivered in a robust and custom-made case, ready for rapid response. An ideal solution for environmental emergency preparedness, exercises and real-world incidents where accurate positioning and easy deployment are essential.
